School 33 focuses exclusively on Baltimore’s contemporary arts and its promotion through public exhibitions, special art events, and educational outreach to both children and adults. In fact, the Center’s century-old school building in Federal Hill has served as an inspiring hub of homegrown creative activity and learning that is unique to Baltimore for over 25 years:

  • We consistently showcase the finest artistic talent in the region through a year-round program of exhibitions and events.
  • We provide art education classes for children and adults.
  • Our full schedule of exhibitions, workshops, studio tours, and fundraising events such as Lotta Art attracts diverse audiences to Federal Hill and South Baltimore.
  • Our newest initiative, the School 33 Art Center Members’ Gallery, gives artist members the opportunity to exhibit work in a professional gallery
