[edit] Add an Article to a Category
- This may seem a little odd at first, but it's actually very clever. The important thing here is that you don't actually create a category, you just add a specific line of code to an article that you want to include in a category. Example:
- Adding this code to an article: [[Category:Help]] adds that article to the category called Help.
- The result is visible at the bottom of this page, where you should see a gray box with the text Category:Help. The Help text may be red or blue, either way, click on the Help text and you will be linked to the Help category.
[edit] Add an Article to Multiple Categories
- This is as easy as repeating the above step for each category, like so:
- [[Category:Help]]
[[Category:SITE_MAP]]
[[Category:Tuna_Fish_Sandwich]] - The result is that the article will then be included in the Help, SITE_MAP, and Tuna_Fish_Sandwich categories.
- [[Category:Help]]
[edit] Create a New Category
- Creating a new category happens automatically when you add the [[Category:New_Category_Name]] code to your article. If the New_Category_Name category didn't exist prior, it will once you save the new edit.
