• A wiki is software that allows users to create, edit, and link web pages easily. Wikis are often used to create collaborative websites and to power community websites. These wiki websites are often also referred to as wikis.^[1]

• Nope! You can contribute anonymously--but registering is free.

[edit] Why would I register if I can contribute anonymously?

• Because you will have your very own user page (for example: User:Mike, User:Richard), where you can add whatever you want! You'll have your very own talk page (for example: User_talk:Mike and User_talk:Richard); among other neat things.

[edit] How can I contribute and/or help?

• The easiest way to help with this site is to tell some people about it!
• Create a new article. The only guideline is that it must relate to Baltimore somehow!
• Edit a current article. You could...
  • Correct grammatical errors
  • Fix bad/incorrect citations
  • Fix/alert users to improper use of images (copyright/permissions)
  • Spice up an article with flowery adjectives
  • Fix broken links
  • Reformat hard-to-read bodies of text
• Add images/photographs to image-less articles

• Read through the Help section
• Contact other users on their talk pages with relevant questions

• We can rollback any error! Just ask a current user how this is done
